Commissioning Officer
Start: ASAP
Duration: 4-5 months initially, potential extensions
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience (Inside IR35)
Hours: Full time - 5 days per week
Location: West Midlands
Our client is currently looking for a Commissioning Officer to provide commissioning and project oversight for the Household Support Fund.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the commissioning requirements and contract for the programme
2. Monitor the budget
3. To report write and update partners
4. Partnership working
5. Complete financial returns to evidence impact and outcomes
6. Create and lead on development action plans
7. Create a risk log
8. Promotion of the programme where required
Requirements:
9. Enhanced DBS- children’s – if you do not have a DBS, one can be processed
10. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills at all levels, and with stakeholders
11. Experience and understanding of commissioning services
12. Experience in negotiating service delivery requirements
13. Experience of contract setting processes
14. Experience of report writing and data analysis
15. Experience of Quality assurance
16. Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
17. Possess good partnership working skills
18. Attention to detail
