Clinical Nurse Specialist Haematology – Candino CA
Join our Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team at Colchester Hospital. This part‑time (30 hours per week) position covers maternity leave until 6 Dec 2026. We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering high‑standard patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive services for patients with acute and chronic malignant haematological disorders and non‑malignant haematological disorders.
* Deliver expert care, advice and support to patients receiving treatment on an in‑patient and out‑patient basis, to their families and as a resource to other staff.
* Develop and lead nurse‑led clinics to meet patient and family needs.
* Work closely with and support the Oncology/Haematology day unit manager.
* Provide cross‑cover within the wider Haematology specialties when required.
* Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base and facilitate professional development of nurses within the Division.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with relevant haematology experience.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Good communication, organisational and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of ESNEFT national standards and clinical governance.
