About The Role
This is a remote-first role open to candidates anywhere in the UK. You’ll join the team in Woking office just once a month for team collaboration days. They are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser to join their small, busy fundraising team.
Responsibilities
* Proactively nurture and grow relationships with existing supporters.
* Develop relationships with new trusts and foundations, delivering excellent donor stewardship.
* Create compelling funding applications, reports and communications demonstrating impact.
* Raise restricted and unrestricted funds for grant giving services and enhancements to care homes and day care services.
* Conduct research and write proposals, updates and reports for trust donors.
* Maximise income by managing a portfolio of trust donors and maintaining strong relationships.
* Use the database (Access Charity CRM) to maintain accurate records, manage relationships, and coordinate actions and deadlines.
* Identify new opportunities and submit high-quality, targeted proposals to secure support from new and lapsed funders.
* Prepare written reports on activities, progress and income against objectives; communicate impact via social media, website and Impact Report.
* Collaborate with internal staff to gather project information for funding applications and build positive internal/external relationships.
* Gather case studies for fundraising communications, applications and reports.
* Undertake administrative duties such as thanking donors and other routine tasks as required.
* Carry out other tasks as required by the Fundraising Manager and Fundraising Team.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in trust fundraising and donor stewardship.
* Ability to research, write and submit high-quality funding proposals.
* Strong relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency with CRM systems (Access Charity CRM) and fundraising reporting.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate impact of funded activities.
