Proclinical is seeking a Logistics Planner to coordinate logistics requirements with external partners, ensuring a compliant, cost-effective, and efficient delivery process from contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to warehouses and distribution centers. This role is essential for maintaining audit compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Organize and book shipments from CMOs to various warehouses and distributors.
* Interact with logistics providers and track shipments.
* Perform inbound and outbound transactions in SAP by Design, including intercompany transfers.
* Ensure audit readiness and compliance.
* Collect and verify quality documents for goods receipt and post receipts in SAP.
* Oversee sample shipments to quality control.
* Follow up on the final release of medicines.
* Execute sales orders and ensure timely processing in SAP.
* Investigate temperature deviation reports and internal complaints.
* Maintain professional relationships with freight forwarders.
* Track all shipments and perform analytics.
* Optimize loads and collections to meet logistics cost targets.
* Create 'Customer Cards' detailing shipping specifics.
Key Skills and Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in logistics planning, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
* Strong MS Office skills.
* Knowledge of customs procedures and ERP/WMS systems.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in GDP and GMP standards.
* Understanding of incoterms.
* Agile thinker with problem-solving abilities.
