Job Description
Our client, a Chambers ranked, niche litigation legal practice, has a current requirement for a litigation solicitor to join them.
About the Role
The role will focus on litigation and the successful applicant can expect a wide and varied litigation case-load covering both criminal litigation (non legal aid) and civil/commercial litigation.
Responsibilities
* You can expect to be handling a variety of criminal files.
* Being involved in high profile criminal enquiries & FAIs.
* Handling some employment related cases, commercial & civil disputes.
Qualifications
* Applicants will ideally be NQ - 3 Yrs PQE.
* Must be admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland, or are about to be.
* If already qualified, must hold a current and unrestricted practising certificate.
Required Skills
* Criminal litigation experience.
* Comfortable dealing with clients and appearing in court.
* Keen to develop their litigation career.
* Applicants will be given training on the civil side if needed.
