Pay: Paid to scale starting from GBP160+ per day
The Role:
Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have recently graduated and are looking to gain valuable in-school experience from September.
You will join a committed teaching team, helping to deliver engaging lessons and build positive relationships with pupils. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and eager to make a positive impact on young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons
Create a safe and stimulating learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy
Work closely with teaching staff, support staff, and parents
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ECTs encouraged to apply
Previous experience in a UK primary school setting (placement experience accepted)
Up-to-date safeguarding training (training can be provided)
To Be Eligible Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one
Provide two professional references (including one from a child-related setting)
