Meter Operative - Smart Metering (London & South)
Salary: £39,000-£41,000 + £3,000 annual bonus
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
Locations: Bromley (BR), Enfield (EN), North West London (NW), Romford (RM), South East London (SE), South West London (SW), Watford (WD), Bristol (BS)
About the Role
We're looking for skilled Meter Operatives to join a major smart metering contract across London and the South.
Depending on your location, you'll work on either:
Single Fuel (Electric-only) meters, or
Dual Three (Dual-fuel, including gas and three-phase electricity) meters.Your day-to-day duties will include:
Visiting domestic properties
Carrying out safety checks
Installing, exchanging, and testing meters
Recording all work accurately and in line with compliance standardsRequirements
Eligible to work in the UK
Relevant qualifications:
EMI for Single Fuel
Gas Safe + Dual Fuel accreditation for Dual Three
Previous experience in meter installation or similar field-based role
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
Full UK driving licenceBenefits
