Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Manager

Position Summary

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of all functional and technical components of the Oracle Fusion Cloud (OFC) project. This includes overseeing the build, testing, data migration, integrations, and environment management.

The role ensures that all technical workstreams progress according to plan, vendor teams deliver to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and technical readiness is achieved across all clusters. Working across multiple System Integrator (SI) and vendor partners, as well as internal technical leads, the Project Manager ensures alignment with design authority decisions, manages risks and dependencies, and provides clear reporting to project leadership. Ultimately, the role is accountable for ensuring technical delivery is controlled, predictable, and fully aligned with business and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Planning & Delivery Management Develop and maintain the integrated technical delivery plan across build, test, data, integrations, and environments. You will ensure all technical tasks, dependencies, and milestones are clearly defined and tracked. A key aspect of this role is coordinating delivery across SI/vendor teams and internal technical leads while ensuring strict adherence to design authority decisions and technical governance.

Delivery Leadership Lead daily stand-ups and technical workstream meetings to monitor progress against the plan and manage burn-down charts. You will be expected to identify blockers early, drive timely resolution, and ensure that technical teams maintain high-quality documentation and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Vendor & Partner Management Oversee SI and vendor performance against contractual SLAs and delivery commitments. You will coordinate technical activities across multiple suppliers and internal teams, escalating vendor risks and performance issues promptly. Ensuring vendors comply with programme standards, design decisions, and timelines is critical to success.

Functional/Technical Readiness & Quality Assurance Define and manage functional and technical readiness criteria for each deployment stage. You will oversee test entry and exit criteria, ensuring environments, data, and integrations are ready. This involves validating functional and technical components ahead of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, and go-live, while ensuring technical risks, defects, and issues are tracked and resolved.

Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with the ERP Solution Lead to ensure alignment between design and delivery. You will coordinate with the Testing Manager on environment readiness and defect management, and collaborate with the Cutover Manager to ensure technical cutover tasks are planned and executed effectively. Aligning technical plans with overall business readiness and transformation timelines is essential.

Risk, Assumption, Issue & Dependency (RAID) Management Maintain a comprehensive technical RAID log and ensure robust mitigation plans are in place. You will escalate critical risks to programme leadership and the PMO, manage dependencies across functional, technical, data, and cutover workstreams, and ensure cost control across all technical delivery activities.

Reporting & Governance Provide regular, structured updates to the PMO, Programme Directors, and governance forums. You will produce technical readiness assessments and leadership dashboards, ensure all technical documentation is up to date and accessible, and support go/no-go recommendations with evidence-based technical inputs.

Required Skills & Experience

ERP Delivery Expertise Strong experience managing ERP technical delivery across build, test, data, and integrations. A deep understanding of ERP architecture, environments, and the technical lifecycle is essential. Experience specifically with Oracle Fusion Cloud is strongly preferred.

Professional Experience 7–12+ years in project management, technical delivery, or ERP transformation roles. You must have experience coordinating multiple SI/vendor teams in complex programmes and delivering across multi-cluster or multi-entity organisations.

Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. You must possess the ability to influence technical leads, architects, and suppliers, and be highly skilled at managing senior stakeholders and presenting technical information clearly.

Planning & Delivery Control Strong schedule management, dependency tracking, and RAID control capabilities. You should have the ability to run structured stand-ups, drive disciplined delivery, and demonstrate a strong understanding of testing cycles, data migration, and integration readiness.

Consulting Mindset Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and shaping direction where requirements are evolving. You must have the ability to challenge constructively, propose alternatives, and guide clients toward best-practice solutions. Commercial awareness—including an understanding of programme budgets, scope, risk, and value drivers—is required, alongside strong analytical, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills.

Leadership & Collaboration A confident decision-maker who can challenge constructively and drive accountability in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. You should have experience leading cross-functional teams across HR, IT, and SI partners, with the ability to mentor client teams and uplift internal capability.

Communication & Delivery Excellence High-quality documentation, storytelling, and presentation skills. You must be able to manage expectations, communicate risks effectively, drive issue resolution, and maintain a strong focus on quality, governance, and structured delivery.
