Key Stage 2 Teacher - Chester & Surrounding Areas
Location: Chester and surrounding areas
Salary: £120-£160 per day (supply) / MPS (long-term roles)
Contract Type: Supply (short-term & immediate start) and Long-term (September start)
About the Role
Academics are currently working in partnership with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Chester and the surrounding areas to recruit a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher.
We have a variety of opportunities available, including immediate start supply roles and long-term positions from September, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking flexibility or a more permanent placement within education and training.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of all learnersRequirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience as a Key Stage 2 Teacher
Strong classroom management skills
A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
Commitment to delivering high-quality educationDesirable (but not essential)
Experience working across multiple year groups in KS2 as Key Stage 2 Teacher or similar
Previous experience in a variety of school settingsWhat We Offer
