A busy and well-regarded law firm in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its thriving residential property team. This is a full-time, office-based role suited to candidates with at least 12 months of hands-on experience in residential conveyancing, particularly in sales and purchase transactions.
In this client-facing position, you'll be working in a fast-paced legal environment, providing vital support to solicitors and fee earners handling a high-volume caseload. Key Responsibilities

* Opening new client files and entering details into the case management system

* Drafting standard legal documents such as sale contracts and initial letters

* Ordering searches and assisting with the preparation of client reports
\n
\n
* Managing files in line with firm policies and transaction timelines
\n
\n
* Supporting the exchange and completion process, including post-completion work
\n
\n
* Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, solicitors and other third parties

\n
* Handling incoming/outgoing post and assisting with billing, filing and general admin
