You will be responsible for Assembling and Fabricating mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organisation.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday - 07:00 till 16:15
Friday 07:00 till 12:30
Rate of Pay:
Starting from £17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricating highway products and infrastructures according to specifications and industry standards
Operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and position materials as needed
Reading and interpret drawings to determine project requirements
Inspecting finished products for quality and ensuring they meet specifications
Maintaining and performing routine checks on welding and fabricating equipment
Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work area
Candidate Requirements:
Must have steel fabrication experience
Must be able to read drawings
Experience with operating overhead cranes preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a fabrication environment
