About EYC
Esports Youth Club (EYC) is a social enterprise making esports accessible to everyone. We run free gaming clubs and esports tournaments for young people across South London. Our mission is to provide safe, fun & accessible spaces for young people to game together, focussing on social and digital inclusion.
What will you be doing?
We run regular free-to-attend gaming sessions for young people across South London, typically in existing youth club venues & libraries. Our sessions involve competitions, tournaments and educational talks. We are looking for experienced, flexible staff to work in our small team to help set up the equipment, provide guidance and a structure to the sessions as well as supervising and delivering activities. You will be a mentor for the young people attending and will have a passion to deliver impactful change to the lives of young people through EYC.
When?
Typically 4 - 6pm (notice will be provided of upcoming sessions 4 weeks in advance).
Other times may also be required from time to time. Extra shifts at other locations will also be available.

Required:
● You are friendly, patient and can build rapport with young people easily
● Previous experience working with young people
● Reliable and punctual
● Flexible timetable
● Staff will be expected to comply with EYCs policies including health and safety,
data protection and code of conduct at all times
● Enhanced DBS (we can arrange)
Desirable
● Can proactively deal with issues and resolve conflict
● Interest in the gaming / esports industry
