About the Role
We are seeking caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Classroom Teaching Assistants to join supportive primary schools in Barnsley and Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging lessons
✅ Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to aid learning
✅ Assist with classroom organisation, resources and displays
✅ Encourage positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive environment
✅ Support children with additional learning needs where required

Requirements
✔️ Experience working with children (school-based preferred)
✔️ Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 desirable but not essential)
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ Patience, resilience, and a passion for working with young learners
✔️ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
