My client based in the centre of Lancaster are now in the enviable position to grow their finance team with the addition of an Accounts Assistant
What You'll Be Doing
As the new Accounts Assistant, you'll be involved in a variety of essential finance tasks that keep the business moving:
🔹 Credit Control - Monitor outstanding balances and build positive relationships with customers to ensure timely payments.
🔹 Purchase Invoices - Process incoming invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring supplier payments run like clockwork.
🔹 Staff Expenses - Review and process employee expense claims, maintaining a keen eye for detail and compliance.
🔹 Month-End Support - Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
🔹 Ad Hoc Projects - Collaborate with the finance team on exciting and varied projects that make a real difference to the business.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a similar finance or accounts role - ideally studying AAT
A proactive and positive attitude with strong attention to detail
Confident using finance systems and Excel
Great communication and organisation skills
Willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced teamWhat You'll Get in Return
