Overview
Part of the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The position includes supporting the children attending the Nursery setting and working with the manager, deputy manager and room supervisor to deliver a suitable programme of activities, as well as caring for the children’s personal needs. The role will also include acting as a key worker for a small number of children and compiling a record of their development as well as involving parents/carers in their child’s progress. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and be able to use their initiative to support the children’s needs and form positive and supportive relationships with them.

Salary and terms
* Salary – Scale C, Points 3-4, £12,628 - £12,826 actual pa (£24,796 - £25,185 FTE)
* Fixed Term until 31 August 2026
* Part time
* 22 hours per week
* Term Time only
* Required as soon as possible
Responsibilities
* Support children attending the Nursery setting and work with the manager, deputy manager and room supervisor to deliver a suitable programme of activities.
* Caring for the children’s personal needs.
* Act as a key worker for a small number of children and compile a record of their development.
* Involve parents/carers in their child’s progress and form positive, supportive relationships with families.
* Assist with the Nursery’s before and after school care provision for Nursery and school-aged children; hours will be between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
