Clinical Nurse Manager has operational responsibility for providing clinical, managerial and professional leadership in the running of the service and accountable for the delivery and standards of care provided to patient and ensuring safe effective person-centred care.

Lead in the appraisal and setting of personal development plans for team managers and their senior nursing staff including ensuring access to CPD and individual performance management and implementation of revalidation processes.
Registered Mental Health nurse with current NMC registration, you will be educated to or working towards graduate, master’s Level or have evidence of higher education or equivalent experience.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own, show initiative, and be adaptable within a variety of settings across Adult, Older Mental Health and substance Use in the community.
Evidence of leadership and operational management of mental health nursing services, can demonstrate a clinically safe, professional and quality service is planned and delivered at all times.
Sound knowledge of NMC policies and procedures, experience of policy interpretation, development and implementation.
Experience of all staff management issues e.g. sickness absence, poor performance, disciplinary issues.
Knowledge and experience of recruitment and retention of nursing staff to maintain optimum service levels/skill mix whilst enabling service redesign/workforce redesign.
