Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Graduate to join our team. Northstone is the leading manufacturer and supplier of building materials in Northern Ireland. Our 2025 Graduate Programme begins in September 2025 and offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and development in technical, interpersonal, commercial, and management skills. The programme includes engagement with the Ibec Academy, accredited by TU Dublin, and a Professional Diploma in Leadership and Competence.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Understanding operation and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant and equipment.
2. Participating in process projects aimed at sustainability and efficiency improvements.
3. Preparing technical drawings and documentation.
4. Maintaining high health, safety, and environmental standards.
5. Coordinating maintenance and upgrades under management guidance.
6. Communicating effectively with employees and contractors.
Candidate requirements:
1. Relevant third-level qualification in Electrical, Building Services, Automation Engineering, or similar.
2. Team player with a positive attitude.
3. Clean driving licence.
4. Good interpersonal skills and proactive approach.
5. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
8. Strong computer literacy; proficiency in AutoCAD is desirable but training provided.
