Summary:
The Biomedical Equipment Technician II role is responsible for the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of various high-tech biomedical patient care equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, testing, calibrating, modifying, specifying, installing, and maintaining diagnostic, therapeutic, and analytic biomedical equipment.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
1. Education: Associate's Degree in Biomedical Electronics Technology preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Valid Driver's License required.
3. Experience: At least five years of experience in medical electronics repair required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Biomedical Equipment Technician I.
