Responsibilities and duties of the Field Service Engineer role Reporting to the Head of Operations you will: Assist with planned inspections and maintenance in line with legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements Support reactive maintenance activities including fault diagnosis and resolution Carry out site surveys as required Compile accurate documentation for internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner Maintain detailed electrical testing records, High Voltage documentation and safety paperwork suitable for audit Ensure work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost and productivity targets Comply fully with company Health & Safety policies and procedures Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent) C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (18th preferred) At least one year's maintenance experience within industrial, commercial or domestic environments Full UK driving licence Personal skills The Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is: Passionate about renewable technologies such as Solar PV and battery storage Keen to develop a long-term career within the renewables sector Comfortable working in a field-based role and travelling between sites Proactive, organised and safety-conscious Salary and benefits of the Field Service Engineer role £30,000
