Linguistics Graduate | What were looking for An exceptional First-Class Linguistics Graduate will join us as a Speech and Language Assistant in Barking & Dagenham, starting immediately and continuing through July 2025. Youll provide valuable 1:1 support to pupils with Speech and Language needs.Schedule: MondayFridayCompensation: £444+ per week, paid on a PAYE basis, including holiday payQualifications: Ideal for Linguistics graduates, though Psychology graduates will also be consideredPerfect for: Aspiring Speech and Language Therapists seeking hands-on experience in a supportive school environment Linguistics Graduate | Key Responsibilities Youll work closely with pupils across Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, supporting their development through engaging 1:1 sessions while collaborating with the schools SENCO to ensure a nurturing environment.
* Providing targeted support for pupils with speech and language needs in ReceptionYear 2
* Delivering tailored sessions to improve language comprehension, sound articulation, and active listening
* Assisting children with behavioural, emotional, social, and medical needs
* Working alongside a qualified Speech and Language Therapist one day per week
* Making a positive impact on childrens communication skills
