About the Role
Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a committed and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school in the TS1 area of Middlesbrough.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and welcoming school environment, where staff work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. The school has a positive ethos and places a strong emphasis on both academic achievement and pupil wellbeing.
The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their primary education and preparing them for the transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
2. Prepare pupils for SATs and end of Key Stage 2 assessments
3. Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress
4. Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
5. Work closely with colleagues, parents and support staff
What We’re Looking For
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
8. Strong understanding of SATs preparation and expectations
9. Confident classroom management skills
10. A motivated and supportive approach to teaching and learning
