🌟 SEN Teaching Assistant - Long Eaton
Location: Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire
Pay Rate: £95 - £105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary to Permanent

About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs - including Autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, or behavioural needs.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs.
Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.
Adapting learning materials to meet pupils' individual requirements.
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Supporting teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery.
Building trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to ensure consistent support.
About You
We're looking for caring and resilient individuals who:
Have experience supporting children with SEN in a school, nursery, or care setting.
Are patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusion.
Can use initiative and adapt to meet pupils' changing needs.
Hold a relevant qualification () - desirable but not essential.
Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All applicants will be required to hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
