Role Responsibilities
* Managing a varied client portfolio, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
* Preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns
* Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and offering mentorship
* Acting as the first point of contact for client queries and building strong long-term relationships
* Identifying opportunities to add value and support clients with ad hoc business advice
* Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients when required
* Supporting the implementation of cloud accounting solutions (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)

Candidate Requirements
* ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
* A strong background working in practice (minimum 3-4 years preferred)
* Experience managing your own portfolio of clients
* Excellent knowledge of cloud accounting software
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A commercial mindset and proactive approach to client service
* A team-oriented attitude with a passion for supporting junior colleagues
