About The Role
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to the intellectual life of the School / Institute and wider institution. They will be involved in the NIHR Dementia and Neurodegeneration Policy Research Unit at Queen Mary (DeNPRU-QM) specifically contributing their knowledge in quantitative methods. They will also contribute to other projects within the Centre for Psychiatry and Mental Health.
About You
The candidate will have a PhD (or close to completion*) ideally in an area aligned with dementia, neurodegeneration or a similar subject. They will have knowledge of mixed methods research with demonstrable experience and expertise across quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The candidate will have the ability to work with large complex data sets and communicate complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing.

The Unit of Psychological Medicine, part of the Centre for Psychiatry & Mental Health at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, focuses on research, translation into public health strategies, and practical implementation to reduce disease and disability.

* PhD candidates close to completion and not yet awarded will be appointed on a salary of £37,889 - £38,483. Upon submission of formal award documentation, salary increases to £41,510.
