FINANCIAL PLANNER – HNW PRIVATE CLIENTS
£80,000 – £100,000+ BASIC | HIGHLY LUCRATIVE BONUS | EXETER | FULLY HYBRID / FLEXIBLE WORKING
This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner to join a well-established, highly regarded independent wealth management business in Exeter - and it comes with a strong foundation already in place.
You will be handed a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, each with in excess of £500,000 invested, based across Exeter, Torquay, and the surrounding area. Your role will be to effectively manage these clients whilst growing the book proactively. The business will provide full admin and paraplanning support, so you can focus entirely on client relationships and business development. The bonus structure is fully transparent and formulaic, rewarding you on new initial business and new recurring income as you grow, meaning the earning potential builds significantly year on year as your recurring revenue compounds.
The role:
* Take ownership of an existing portfolio of HNW private clients across Exeter, Torquay, and the wider area; delivering a high-quality, holistic financial planning service
* Proactively build and grow the client base through client referrals, professional introducer relationships, networking events, webinars, and seminars
* Benefit from leads generated through central marketing and media campaigns
* Work with full admin and paraplanning support; your time is focused on clients and growth, not administration
* Enjoy genuine flexibility; predominantly home-based with visits to the Exeter office as needed
What we're looking for:
* An experienced Financial Planner with a strong track record of managing HNW private client relationships
* Someone who genuinely enjoys both looking after existing clients and proactively developing new business as this role requires both
* Level 4 qualified as a minimum; Chartered status or working towards it would be a real advantage
* Commercially driven, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own diary and pipeline
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships
