Key Responsibilities
As a Tim Hortons Restaurant Shift/Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager with responsibilities including:
Customer Service
* Leading by example, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
* Maintaining a customer-focused approach in all operations.
* Accurate staff scheduling to meet demand.
* Supporting operational efficiency and conducting regular store walks.
People
* Encouraging staff suggestions and addressing concerns.
* Providing performance feedback, setting goals, and offering support.
* Fostering a positive team environment, ensuring dignity and respect for all employees, and working with HR on performance management.
Driving Sales
* Understanding sales patterns, popular products, and peak times.
* Ensuring proper product merchandising and supporting marketing campaigns.
* Coaching staff on upselling and suggestive selling.
* Identifying areas for improvement and motivating staff through incentives.
Operations
* Monitoring KPIs such as sales, staff turnover, food safety, and health & safety standards.
* Maintaining operational standards, cleanliness, and food hygiene.
* Managing stock orders and equipment maintenance.
* Overseeing opening and closing procedures.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance and reporting incidents promptly.
* Working flexible shifts as part of the management team.
Key Requisites
* Previous experience managing restaurants.
* Flexible and disciplined work approach.
* Experience in food environments is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* High standards of food hygiene and safety.
* Experience handling customer complaints.
* Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
