As a highly valued member of the hospital management team, responsible for our great administration teams across the hospital. Your direct reports will have the day-to-day management of our support services such as reception and business administration.
You'll bring excellent organisational and analytical skills, paired with strong communication and interpersonal abilities that support effective team leadership. With experience in patient management systems, databases, and Excel, you'll be confident assessing current processes and driving continuous improvement. Your background in customer-focused environments and implementing new software systems will be an asset, while your proactive approach to personal development-and your commitment to supporting others through coaching and mentoring-will help foster a culture of growth, accuracy, and efficiency across the team.
As our Patient Services Manager you will also:
* Develop positive and effective working relationships with consultants to ensure accurate and timely communication of information concerning clinical governance, risk management, quality assurance.
* Organise and maintains knowledge within patient information systems / resources using agreed methods
* Help and support the integration of new patient systems/processes across the administration departments.
* In partnership with other clinical teams, collaborate on improving the quality of services provided at Exeter Nuffield
* Provide day to day management for your team including recruitment, induction, performance excellence reviews, attendance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures
* Monitor and co-ordinate the use of staff resources and other resources across the location.
* Promote and maintain training, development and the mentoring of staff
* Ensure work is carried out to deadlines within agreed working practices and procedures, in line with current GDPR requirements.
* To monitor and make improvements where necessary to ensure our patients continue to receive excellent customer experience across the hospital.
