We are currently seeking an experienced Sales/ Project Director to join a well-established and reputable business based in Farnham. This excellent opportunity to join the senior sales team as the business transitions from family-run to a more formal structure, with the aim of ambitious growth over the next 3 years.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and growing sales in complex, high-value project-based environment and a history of exceeding targets. From taking marketing-qualified appointments and attending them to re-qualify as sales-qualified appointments, the Project Director role involves overseeing the process from appointment to securing the sale. This includes taking care of the client end-to-end, collaborating with the design and pre-construction/estimating/furniture teams, managing client relations throughout the process whilst maintaining a special focus on new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing your own sales leads
* Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and builds business value
* Actively engage in goal setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team
* Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships with a partnership approach
* Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Requirements
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
* Previous experience in a Sales Director or Project Director position
* Experience in building strong relationships with clients
* Experience with delivering presentations to clients
