Responsibilities
* Write efficient and scalable code in C++ and potentially Rust, with the ability to optimize code to run on minimal hardware.
* Manage databases and write complex queries in SQL.
* Develop and maintain web applications using Vue.js and Angular.js.
* Design and implement user interfaces using HTML and Tailwind.
* Work with Linux environments and develop within Dev containers.
* Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment.
* Potentially develop applications in Java and work with ROS.
* Implement and manage edge computing solutions to process data at its source.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into the development processes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in software development.
* Proven experience working in a software team and tracking projects with git.
Qualities
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Passionate about robotics and engineering.
* Strong mathematical background.
* Ideally experience working in 3D environments (game engines, simulators, etc.)
* Familiarity with agile management practices and tools, preferably Jira.
