Job Description
* Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to ensure minimal downtime.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment within the manufacturing environment.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machinery efficiency.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and report any issues promptly.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Mechanical Fitter should have:
* Proven experience working with industrial machinery and equipment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Understanding of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently when required.
