As the business grows, so does the complexity of keeping everything running smoothly. This role sits at the heart of that - owning the relationship between customers and supply chain, and making sure both sides of that equation stay on track.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll:
* Take full ownership of production planning and scheduling
* Manage sales orders, works orders, purchase orders and delivery schedules
* Liaise directly with customers to manage orders, priorities and delivery commitments
* Manage purchasing and supplier relationships
* Work closely with production and warehouse teams to hit on-time delivery targets
* Identify and implement process improvements across supply chain and customer service
* Support and develop the team around you as the function grows
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Essential:
* Proven experience in planning, purchasing and customer liaison within a manufacturing or operational environment
* Strong working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
* A track record of managing delivery schedules and supplier relationships
* Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams at all levels
Useful, not essential:
* Experience leading or developing a small team
* Exposure to process improvement or systems change projects
