Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven engineer to join our growing Engineering family. Perform maintenance and reactive activity across Mechanical and Electrical Building services namely electrical controls, lighting, heating, boilers, pumps, compressed air, fan coil, air handling units, and equipment found in commercial/industrial premises.
Responsibilities
* Undertake maintenance and reactive activity for a wide range of Mechanical and Electrical Building services.
* Collaborate with local team to ensure safe operation and repair of M&E building services, fabric and equipment on site.
* Participate in department energy-saving schemes and promote energy efficiency.
* Take part in a rota providing reactive maintenance outside operating hours, including weekends and out of hours.
* Identify and report faults, taking relevant steps to resolve them.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical or C&G 2382–18
* Knowledge of 18th Edition BS 7671:2018
* SC clearance is required.
* Strong knowledge of H&S issues and ability to report/escalate them.
* Assume responsibility for compliance with legislation and site welfare policies.

* Planned and reactive maintenance activities completed within contract timescales.
* All H&S requirements undertaken.
* Reports completed to a high standard and contain all required information.
* Positive feedback from management team and stakeholders.

* Analysis and decision making – appropriate decisions, confident communication, problem analysis, propose solutions.
