We are recruiting either of the above skill sets to join our team in Childwall, Liverpool working Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break each day.
A Qualified Accuracy Checker (AC) is a registered pharmacy professional responsible for the final accuracy check of dispensed medicines to ensure patient safety, operating under GPhC standards. Key responsibilities include verifying dispensed items against prescriptions, managing dispensary workflows, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
You will also be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of customer care and services are maintained throughout the branch.
As a Qualified Pharmacy Checking Technician (ACT) you will be registered with the GPhC and an Accredited Checking Technician qualification to perform final accuracy checks on dispensed items. Key responsibilities includeensuring legal, safe, and accurate dispensing, managing inventory, and supervising support staff, working under the indirect supervision of a pharmacist.
Previous management/supervisor experience is beneficial but not essential.
