Job Description
The company are a manufacturer in Alcester manufacturing high-precision fabricated and machined metal components, for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries. They are seeking to recruit an NDT Technician for their operations.Key Responsibilities
* Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance to procedures
* Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
* Conduct control checks and tests in accordance to procedures
* Interpretation and evaluation of test results against defined acceptance standards
* Generate work instructions
* Manage workflow to meet production requirements
* Prepare and authorise product test reports
* Conduct test and inspections to ensure product is conforming to customer product specifications and definitions
* Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities on as timely basis
Required Skills & Experience:
* Previous working experience working in an NDT Technical capacity
* Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
* Must be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards and maintain and achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
* Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
* Strong team player
The role is Lates Monday to Wednesday 4.30pm to 2.30am Thursday 4.30pm to 1.30pm The company offer a clean, modern and friendly working environment, staff social events, on site parking. The role is based in Alcester so is commutable from Redditch, Studley, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Stratford upon Avon, Worcester
