HELP BUILD THE FINANCIAL ENGINE BEHIND A PROMISING STARTUP (£10M+)
FindXtra (formerly OutsourceXtra) is a fast-evolving outsourcing and software company built around human connection, automation, and trust.
We’ve already assembled an elite three-person executive team - each driving major corporate partnerships and strategic growth. With lucrative contracts already in motion and a projected first-year revenue exceeding £10 million, we’re now seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to take control of the company’s financial systems, reporting, and strategy.
ABOUT THE ROLE
FindXtra has strong foundations - powerful tech, exceptional leadership, and accelerating market traction. Now it needs a financial mind capable of building structure around scale.
As CFO, you will:
* Design, implement, and oversee all financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
* Manage billing operations and ensure seamless integration between clients, freelancers, and internal systems
* Build detailed forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support strategic decision-making
* Partner with the CEO on funding readiness, valuations, and investor relations
* Work closely with the COO to ensure lean, margin-focused operations
* Support the CCO and CGO in pricing, contract structure, and deal analysis
* Lead on financial due diligence for enterprise partnerships and international expansion
* Manage cash flow, compliance, and risk across UK and overseas operations
* Contribute to board-level decision-making as a key member of the executive leadership team
* Dedicate 10–25+ hours per week depending on availability, ambition, and involvement

COMPENSATION & EQUITY
This is not a salaried role initially - it’s an opportunity to gain meaningful ownership in a high-growth business before its breakout phase.

THE IDEAL CFO CANDIDATE
You’re commercially sharp, strategically minded, and thrive in high-growth, hands-on environments.
You bring:
* 5+ years of senior finance experience (FD, VP Finance, or CFO level)
* A strong understanding of SaaS, services, or marketplace economics
* Ideally hold experience in recruitment, staffing, or labour-intensive businesses
* Proven ability to build systems, financial models, and reporting frameworks from scratch
* Clear, confident communication of financial insights to non-financial teams
* An entrepreneurial mindset - you’re excited to create, not just maintain
* Comfort operating in a dynamic, fast-scaling environment where precision meets agility
Extra credit for:
* Experience in venture-backed or high-growth startups
* Knowledge of UK and US financial structures, compliance, and cross-border accounting
