A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COUNSELLOR
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Bereavement Services Manager, your typical day will include:
1. Working creatively to identify and address individuals' bereavement needs.
2. Supporting individuals and their families to understand and express their grief, especially where complexities exist.
3. Collaborating with volunteers and the wider team to develop engaging group work and peer support sessions.
4. Providing guidance and signposting to third-party organizations.
5. Working closely with colleagues to continually evolve the service to meet the needs of bereaved adults.
6. Proactively managing a caseload and responding to client needs.
