This post is a Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service and project.

The Senior Project Manager will manage one or more specific large-scale projects across the organisation in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders, including lead responsibility of the interpretation of national policy within the specialist area.
The project(s) may be part of a programme, or large stand-alone, and they will be expected to be the planning lead with a high level of autonomy.
Manage project staff.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the overall progress of the Project and use of resources, initiating corrective action where appropriate.
Ensure that the scope and objectives of the programmes are clear and interdependencies are managed.
Work with senior manager and teams to identify opportunities for continual service improvement by utilising programme and project management methodologies.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and Knowledge
* Educated to Postgraduate Diploma level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
* Project and/or Programme management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
Experience
* Experience of management and managing projects.
* Effective partnership working in the public sector.
* Experience of effective stakeholder working with external bodies.
* Experience as a formal project manager.
* Experience of working within the NHS.
Skills and Attributes
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
