Our client, a long-standing, respected and product centric company, is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead and develop its commercial function.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships and leading a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities:
* Developing and delivering the company's sales strategy
* Leading, mentoring and motivating the sales team
* Managing and growing key accounts and strategic customers
* Identifying new market opportunities and driving business development
* Working closely with operations and senior management to align sales with business objectives
* Forecasting, budgeting and reporting on sales performance
The person:
* A proven senior sales professional, ideally from within the fastener or 'c' components sector
* Experienced in leading and managing sales teams
* Commercially astute with a strong track record of delivering growth
* Confident operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
* An effective communicator and relationship builder
