Responsibilities
* Manage the Planning function.
* Oversee the Estimating and Commercial Analyst functions.
* Supervise customer services and estimating personnel, produce estimates, and ensure customer requirements are met.
* Coordinate with the Production Director to ensure deliveries of customer products are achieved.
* Attend daily meetings.
* Price estimates in conjunction with the MD and set price parameters.
* Review and improve existing departmental methods of operation.
* Implement effective changes across teams as necessary, working with MIS in support.
* Communicate clearly across all areas of the business regarding commercial profitability and production capacity.
* Drive continuous improvement across all teams to deliver year‑on‑year improvements in productivity and profitability.
* Promote personal development of self and the team to maximize potential within the client’s business.
Qualifications
Should be resident in the United Kingdom and have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
