We’re looking for an ambitious External Sales Executive to take ownership of a defined territory, generate new business, and maximise growth across established and emerging accounts.
This is not a passive account management role.
This is about territory ownership, proactive selling, and driving measurable results.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for developing and executing a clear external sales strategy within your assigned region.
You’ll:
Build strong relationships with B2B customers and decision-makers
Identify and develop new sectors, applications and target accounts
Attend exhibitions, networking events and industry functions
Convert enquiries into profitable long-term business
Take full responsibility for territory performance and revenue growth
You’ll operate independently in the field while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
Develop and grow existing accounts while winning new business
Maintain strong product and market knowledge
Negotiate commercially sound agreements
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Contribute to marketing activity and lead generation initiatives
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting
About You
You are:
An experienced B2B field sales professional
Target-driven and motivated by growth
Confident managing your own territory
Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
Organised, structured and disciplined in your approach
Comfortable engaging with technical or operational decision-makers
Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing or distribution environments would be advantageous.
