What You Will Enjoy Doing
Purpose of the role
To pick and load orders to customers requirements on time. To receive and book in incoming goods and allocate to specified location. To communicate with transport drivers where trailers need to be moved and allocated onto docks.
Responsibilities
(not limited to)
* To pick and load all customer orders
* To take all incoming deliveries of any consumables (except silo deliveries), book into stock, allocate a GRN number and put stock in allocated position in the warehouses
* Liaising with transport drivers to allocate trailers off and on docks
* Load any allocated scrap onto the scrap collection vehicle
* Keep warehouses in clean and tidy condition
* To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may, from time to time, be reasonably requested by the Planner.
Experience/attributes
What makes you great
* Confident and competent on trucks – experience within warehousing environment
* Valid FLT license
* Aware of H&S requirements within production/warehouse environment
* Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
