The Social Media & PR Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of the company's social media and PR strategy, with a core focus on lead generation. The role involves developing, guiding, and monitoring the company's presence across multiple social media platforms, encompassing a wide range of disciplines and skills, including strategy development, project management, and content creation. This role will also manage the relationship with our external PR agency.

Recruitment Process
Applications for this role may require a short online assessment to establish competency in certain skill areas.

If your application is successful, you will be invited to a short telephone screening call with a member of our HR team. This is an informal conversation to find out a little more about you and your expectations ahead of potentially moving on to a formal interview.

If you are invited to an interview, this may be carried out at our Bournemouth office, or online via a video call depending on your location. Interviews are conducted with the line manager for this role. A second interview may be required depending on the specific job role and may be attended by a member of senior management where required. Don't worry though, we're all very friendly

Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience in B2B lead generation digital marketing, with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and application of the planning and organisation associated with managing social media accounts and marketing initiatives.

* Experience and a proven track record across a range of social media platforms.

* Experience of event planning - Campaign Management: Hands-on experience with paid Social Media Advertising campaigns and a strong understanding of how to maximize paid ad performance is crucial.

* Public Relations: Experience in managing media relations in partnership with an external agency, writing press releases, and handling crisis communications is essential for the PR aspect of the role.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media and PR strategies to increase lead generation, brand awareness, and trade/national press engagement in partnership with an external PR agency.

* Work alongside our creative team, to create captivating content for social media sites, including blogs, articles, paid for adverts and and multimedia, distributing this content via applicable social media channels.

* Work alongside our external PR agency to distribute applicable content to trade and national media, developing strategies to grow brand awareness and share of voice.

* Analyze and report on the effectiveness of social media and PR activities by providing weekly and monthly reports to management on key performance indicators (KPls), return on investment (ROI), emerging trends, and any necessary changes to the overall social media and PR strategy.

* Monitor and respond to customer feedback and media inquiries on social media platforms and through traditional PR channels to manage the companies reputation.

* Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure a holistic and effective marketing, communication, and PR strategy that supports lead generation goals.

* Stay current with social media technology, digital marketing trends, and industry news to provide in-house training and advise on the social media accounts of key personnel.
