Mon-Fri NIGHTS £14.50 & Sat-Sun NIGHTS £16.50

Shifts: 07:00 - 13:00, 13:00- 19:00, 07:00-19:00 (Days) | 19:00 - 07:00 (Nights)
Sugarman Health & Wellbeing is hiring a Care Assistant to support a service user with a C2 spinal cord injury, tracheostomy, and ventilator dependency in their own home. The individual has full capacity and requires assistance with daily Activities.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you'll support vulnerable individuals in their own homes, helping them to live safely, independently, and with dignity. You'll assist with a range of tasks, from personal care to emotional support and everyday activities.
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months care experience (Essential)
* Driver required (Mobility van)
* Non-smoker/vaper
* Willing to assist with physical tasks (e.g., gardening, long walks)
Responsibilities
* Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
* Assisting with mobility and manual handling
* Supporting with meal preparation and feeding, where necessary
* Monitoring and recording vital signs (after training)
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Prompting or assisting with medication (where required and trained)
* Helping with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
* Following care plans and reporting changes or concerns to the care team
* Maintaining dignity, respect, and confidentiality at all times
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high‑quality care. Ideally, you will have:
* A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
* Complex Care experience preferred, but not a mandatory need.
