Job Title: Family Lawyer / Fee Earner
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £45,000 £50,000 (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time | Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm

As we continue to grow, were seeking an experienced and innovative Family Law Fee Earner to join our team. For the right individual, this role offers real progression potential, including the opportunity to work towards partnership.
The Role
As a key member of our family law team, you will be responsible for handling your own caseload of private family law matters from initial instruction to conclusion. Your duties will include:
* Managing a diverse caseload covering:
o Divorce and separation
o Child arrangements and parental responsibility
o Financial remedy proceedings, including division of assets and spousal
maintenance
o Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
o Cohabitation agreements and disputes
o Non-molestation and occupation orders
* Conducting legal research and staying up to date with legislative changes
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including statements, applications, and court bundles
* Preparing cases for court and representing clients at hearings when appropriate
* Advising clients with clarity, empathy, and professionalism
* Developing strong client relationships built on trust and understanding
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
* Contributing to business development and marketing efforts as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
Were looking for a confident and motivated fee earner who takes pride in delivering high-quality legal services. The ideal candidate will:
* Be an experienced Family Lawyer, Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive with a proven track record
* Have the ability to independently manage a varied caseload
* Possess some experience in financial matters within family law (essential)
* Be commercially minded with a proactive, solution-focused approach
* Have excellent communication and client care skills
* Be a team player who contributes positively to our friendly, collaborative culture
* Be ambitious and interested in progressing to partnership
