Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Corsham
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + car / car allowance
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Facilities Manager to lead the facilities operations at and MoD site in Corsham. This is a key role for a dynamic professional with a background in FM project delivery or operational management, and strong leadership skills in managing both people and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day facilities management operations, ensuring high performance and compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Manage and monitor the performance of sub-contractors, ensuring consistent delivery in line with CPI, KPI, and PI frameworks.
* Control operational costs and budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and variances addressed promptly.
* Play a central role in audit processes, reporting, and management information, including operational finance and performance tracking.
* Engage with and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, including internal teams and external partners.
* Lead multi-disciplinary teams, promoting collaboration and accountability across all FM service lines.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and standards, including CDM regulations.
* Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven background in facilities management, with demonstrable experience in either project management or operational delivery.
* Strong people management experience, particularly in leading subcontractor teams and driving service quality.
* Sound knowledge of financial reporting and cost control in an FM environment.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety certification.
* Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems relevant to FM operations.
* Minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Air Conditioning/Refrigeration.
Desirable:
* Previous experience working on secure or defence-related sites.
* Experience working within a highly regulated and audited environment.
