Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within our retail store. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carrying out general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
2. Cleaning and maintaining washrooms and communal areas
3. Ensuring all assigned areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
4. Following health and safety procedures at all times
5. Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
Requirements
6. A valid DBS check is required
7. Previous cleaning experience is preferred
8. Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Reliable and punctual
