Job description:
Grounds Maintenance Staff – Taunton
Our client requires Grounds Maintenance Staff to carry out tasks such as strimming and hard and soft landscaping. Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and much more
What we are looking for:
1. Must have some experience within the grounds maintenance industry
2. Capable of working safely using various equipment and hand tools (, strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers, etc.)
3. Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
4. Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment
5. Enthusiasm, good communication skills
6. Good understanding of health and safety
7. You must have a full, clean driving license; applications without one cannot be considered, unfortunately
8. Will understand the importance of working as a team
9. Reliable and conscientious with a can-do attitude
10. A willingness to learn
11. Ability to work on one’s initiative
Hours of work:
Monday–Friday, but there may be some weekend overtime available
Rate of Pay
12. £ per hour
13. These will be PAYE positions, you will benefit from Accrued Holiday Pay from day one
14. Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)
15. Weekly Pay
16. No Umbrella payments or fees
17. Only Tax and National Insurance deductions, and this will be shown on your payslip
