Are you a passionate and experienced Children’s Residential Home Manager looking for your next challenge? Are you looking to be part of a team opening a new service which will provide care and support to children and young people to equip them for successful and happy adults’ lives.
HLTH Group is working in partnership with a trusted, child-centred provider to recruit a *Registered Manager* for a brand-new residential home which will be launching in Birkenhead in early 2026
*About the Role:*
As Registered Manager, you’ll lead the creation and ongoing development of a high-quality residential home that prioritises the wellbeing, safety, and personal development of each child and young person. You’ll work collaboratively with the newly appointed Responsible Individual and Ofsted Consultant to establish processes and practices that meet and exceed Ofsted standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Lead the Ofsted registration process and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
* Implement effective safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection protocols
* Recruit, train, and manage a skilled, compassionate care team
* Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and education professionals to deliver tailored care plans
* Monitor service performance, manage risk, and foster continuous improvement
* Build strong relationships with local authorities, schools, healthcare services and Ofsted.
*About You:*
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
* At least 2 years’ experience managing a Children’s Residential Home within the last 5 years
* Experience of working with the Spiral Model of Care would be advantageous but not essential
* In-depth understanding of Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
* Experience in launching or commissioning new services is highly desirable
* A motivated and compassionate leader with a commitment to delivering outstanding care
