About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Co-ordinator to join our Plug Me In team. This role is key to ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting the Procurement Lead in achieving departmental goals.
Responsibilities
* Submit Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) to gather competitive pricing and supplier data.
* Place and track orders to ensure timely, complete, and high-quality deliveries.
* Maintain accurate cost records and analyse variances between estimated and actual spend.
* Monitor supplier performance and report on key metrics.
* Collaborate with project and warehouse teams to meet installation deadlines.
* Support the Purchasing Lead in sourcing and evaluating new suppliers.
* Provide logistical and administrative support to field teams and warehouse operations.
* Stay informed on market trends and product availability.
What We’re Looking For
* Essential: Previous experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
* Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
* Desirable: Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance.
* Familiarity with the renewable energy sector.
* Experience with vendor and inventory management systems.
