Artemis Human Capital is working exclusively with a PE backed business entering an exciting phase of growth. As part of this journey, the company is creating a new Financial Controller position to take full ownership of the finance function and help shape the business for its next stage of development. This is a stand-alone and hands on role combining operational finance, controls, reporting, and commercial insight. The Role: Full oversight of the finance function, including month-end, management accounts and statutory reporting Implementing robust financial controls, processes, and systems suitable for a PE-backed environment Cash-flow management, forecasting and budgeting Providing commercial insight and support to the MD and senior leadership team Acting as the primary finance contact for PE investors and external advisors Building a scalable finance function to support future growth (with potential to hire in time) Experience Required: A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) qualified by experience will also be considered Experience in a high-growth, or entrepreneurial business Strong technical accounting and reporting skills, combined with commercial acumen A hands-on mindset with the ability to operate in a stand-alone finance role The confidence to challenge, influence, and partner with senior stakeholders The Benefits: Competitive salary Newly created role with genuine scope to define and shape the finance function Direct exposure to the MD and PE investors Clear progression potential as the business scales City centre location To apply for this Financial Controller job please click on the link below or contact Laura Haggan to discuss in the strictest confidence.
